Well I've submitted my Round 3 Entry for the Digital Scrapbook Place Designer Finder Contest. That was hard work. We had to create specific elements to go with the papers created in Part 2 of Round 2. We had to create a bow with ties, frame, and flower. We also had to create a metal element (it could be one of the "must have" elements) or just one of the 8 required for the kit.
It is done:
My creations. My layouts. My designs. What I am doing. What I am working on.

* ribbons & bows (in 3 colors)

Kit designed at 12x12 and 300ppi.
Available at "The Shaker Box" as one of the October Digital Add-On kits for their monthly kit club.

My latest digital kit - Blooming Meadows
The latest challenge has been meeting a deadline for The Shaker Box while digital add-on kits for their Monthly Kit Club. I am still running behind, but I have another chance to get it right! Hey, at least it isn't already September, right? This is only September's kit after all...
Take a look:
It can only be found at The Shaker Box.
Special thanks to Atomic Cupcake for the chipboard action. I tweaked it again, but am truly grateful for the start.

I was selected as {Layout of the Day}
I am truly enjoying my time over at The Shaker Box. It is a wonderful little community overflowing with enthusiasm and friendliness. If you haven't checked it out, you should (especially if you're a hybrid scrapper).
That being said, one of my recent layouts has been selected as Layout of the Day over at The Shaker Box. Check it out!
This was a total surprise to me, but it made my day!

Even more {Summer Fun} Layouts
This is my nephew. This was not an easy scrap...not because there is anything wrong...simply because I did not consider that I'd want the 3 layouts to match (use the same kit) when I started. The kit is purely pinks, orange, and green! Good thing there was orange and green to use.

Fonts used: Adobe Caslon Pro, Bickham Script Pro, Century Old Style Std, and Arial Black
I am loving this kit. While it isn't going to be a go to kit 100% of with my boys, it does offer nice, softer options.

More {Summer Fun} Layouts
It has taken me a bit more time to complete these as I've been busy again. Wait, when am I not busy? I still have one more layout to do from this series of photos, one of my nephew.
These are my nieces:

I've really been enjoying scrapping the past few weeks. I can understand why people say it is therapeutic. I am not sure what kit I'll use for Darin's layout as I wanted to have them sort of match. I suppose it would be safe to use the greens and oranges from "Victoria." I don't know, yet.

First of the summer layouts
For those that are following the blog updates: The blog redesign is coming together nicely. I am making slow but steady progress. Products have been added to their own "Products" page and "Add to cart" buttons have been added to them. I will add more as time allows or as I create more products.
My goal this summer is to just scrapbook more than I have been. I've been stuck in the designing mode and everything has been...design...design...design...Even then I haven't been as productive in that area either though I have created new products over the past few months. This summer, however, I am going to scrap...for me...for the kids...That being said, I have done exactly that the past couple of days.
Here are the first of the summer layouts...
